Ivana Trump is a popular Czech-American socialite, internet personality, businesswoman and an author. She is widely and majorly known throughout the world as the first wife of the President-elect of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
Ivana is also a businesswoman who was mostly known for her clothing line that she introduced in collaboration with the William Morris Agency. The clothing line was not just for apparels but had a variety of options for jewellery, beauty products and even designer apparels which were mainly and primarily sold via the television shopping channels. She was also a former fashion model.
Early life and education
Ivana Trump was born on February 20, 1949 in Zlin, Moravia which is a small town in Czechoslovakia to Miloš Zelníček and Marie Francová. Her love and talent for skiing prevailed from a very young age and her father always used to encourage her into pursuing her dreams and to make a good career out of skiing.
Although there are little to no reports about her schooling, Ivana graduated from the Charles University which is located in Prague. It was also reported later that she didn’t continue her studies because she wanted to try out her luck with skiing and see how long it took her.
Ivana was supposedly also selected for the 1972 Winter Olympics in the category of skiing. Her specialities included downhill and salom. In 1989, the Secretary General of the Czechoslovak Olympic Committee confirmed the news that there was no one named Ivana registered under the category of skiing in the 1972 Winter Olympics.

- Her first marriage was with a real estate agent, Alfred Winklmayr in the year 1971 and later separated and finalised their divorce in 1973.
- Ivana married Donald Trump in the year 1977 in an extravagant and lavish wedding. Soon after that they were labelled as one of the most powerful couple in the New York City and handled a number of projects together, including the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort. The couple are proud parents of three children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump. Following cheating rumours, the couple divorced in 1992.

She also started her fashion career modelling for a fur company that was based in Canada.
Ivana later moved to New York City in order to promote the Olympics. She later met Donald Trump and the two of them headed a lot of projects together under the Trump organisation.
