DJ Khaled is a popular American record producer, DJ, record label executive and a radio personality who was priorly known as Arab Attack but soon changed it following the 9/11 attacks. He rose to fame following his radio show hosting on the radio station WEDR and also worked as a DJ for the hip hop group Terror Attack.
Khaled later on became the president of the record label Def Jam South and he is also the founder and the Chief Executive Officer of the We The Best Music Group. Till date, Khaled has released a total of nine studio albums. He has also assisted in the production of a number of hip hop albums including Real Talk, True Story, Me, Myself & I et cetera.
Early life and education
DJ Khaled was born as Khaled Muhammad Khaled on November 26, 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana to parents who were Palestinian immigrants. Both his parents were popular Arabic musicians. Khaled was into the world on music from a very young age and took a special liking to rap music and he was thoroughly supported by his parents.
Career
Khaled started his career working in a local recording shop where he laid all the foundations for his music career. He started making alliances with some of the most prominent figures in the early career of his life. He worked in a music store Odyssey in New Orleans which is where he met the famous starts Lil Wayne and Birdman.
Khaled released his debut album on June 06, 2006 and titled it as Listennn.. The Abum and the album hit the Top 200 music charts at #12. He released the albums We The Best, We Global, Victory, We the Best Forever, Kiss The Ring, Suffering From Success, I Changed a Lot and Major Key in the year span from 2007 till 2016.
