Gio Benitez is an American journalist. He works for ABC News as broadcast journalist and correspondent. He appears for programs like World News Today, 20/20, Good Morning America and Nightline. In addition to all these, he hosts a fusion version of the Nightline show. In his career he has won two television Emmy awards.
Early Life
Gio Benitez was born on 29th October 1985, in Miami. He was also raised in the Florida. His parents were Cuban. Benitez graduated in the year of 2004 from Miami Coral Park High School. It was in the year 2008, he got his bachelor degree from Florida International University in Anthropology and Sociology. Benitez could speak both English and Spanish fluently.
Career
Benitez got a job in ABC News in the year of 2013. Since then he has covered many major stories for the network, including Boston Marathon Bombing, American mother prisoned in Mexico, Alabama child held hostage and almost all the major snow storms.
