Jeremy Clarkson is a famous English broadcaster, writer and journalist. He is best known for co-presenting the show Top Gear alongside Richard Hammond and James May. Apart from that, he also writes columns for famous English daily newspapers, The Sunday Times and The Sun.
Clarkson started off his career being a journalist for local English papers but then rose to recognition after presenting Top Gear in 1988. Since then he started hosting a number of shows and even appeared as a guest on several others. Apart from it, Clarkson has produced a number of shows and written a few books on engineering and motoring. He even hosted his own chat show, Clarkson from 1998 till 2000.

Early life and education
Jeremy Clarkson was born on April 11, 1960 in Doncaster, Yorkshire in England to Shirley Gabrielle Clarkson and Edward Grenville Clarkson. His father was a travelling salesman while his mother was a teacher. Their family were not devoid of anything but were not the posh and rich kinds but Clarkson’s parents put him in a private school without thinking about the expenses.
It was later that their parents started a soft toys business whose success helped them pay the fees for their son’s private school. Clarkson attended the Hill House School and later the Repton School. His school life in Repton School was a living nightmare for him where he endured heavy bullying from his schoolmates. He was bullied to a point that he became suicidal but was later expelled from the school with the excuse of being abusive and alcoholic.

- Clarkson married Alexandra James in the year 1989 but she soon left him for one of his friends six months after their marriage.
- He remarried Frances Cain who was his manager on May 1993. The couple are parents to three children and lived in Chipping Norton after their marriage. Frances filed for divorce on April 2014.
