Jennifer Wolfeld known by her professional name Jenna Wolfe is a renowned American television journalist best known for her work at the NBC network where she served as a correspondent and anchor on the network’s popular show, ‘The Today Show’. Wolfe is also a fitness expert and a personal trainer. Wolfe joined NBC in 2007 in the capacity of a national news correspondent and soon found her place into the studio, serving as an anchor on ‘Today’s Sunday edition. She was also named the anchor of ‘Weekend Today’.
Wolfe started her career in the media industry soon after her graduation and worked with several networks like WICZ-TV, WUHF-TV, WHPL-TV and WICZ-TV until she was employed by WABC in New York City which proved to be her breakthrough. Early Life and Education
Wolfe was born on 26 February 1964 in Kingston, Jamaica as the daughter of Puerto Rican Jew Bennet Wolfeld and New Jersey based American Jew Sheila Greenfeld. Her father owned several leather factories in Puerto Rico and soon moved to Jamaica in order tp expand his business. At the age of five, Wolfe moved to Haiti from Jamaica with her family who settled in USA in 1989. Wolfe was raised in a religious Jewish family and was bat mitzvah when she was young.
After completing her early education in Jamaica and Haiti, Wolfe attended the State University of New York at Geneseo (SUNY, Geneseo) where she studied from 1992-1994. She later enrolled into Binghamton University, New York, from where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and French, graduating in 1996.
Career Rise
Wolfe started her career in journalism by working as an intern for NBC’s ‘Today’. She later moved to WICZ-TV, a FOX affiliate with a base in Binghamton, New York. Wolfe was next employed by Rochester, New York based another Fox affiliate WUHF-TV. She joined Philadelphia’s WPHL-TV and became the network’s first ever female sports-caster. She was later hired by Madison Square Garden Network. Wolfe started gaining recognition in 1994 when she joined the WABC network where she was named the weekend morning sports anchor for their popular show Eyewitness News. The show featured a special segment titled ‘Jenna’s Beef’ in which Wolfe served as a reporter on the big sports news story of the week. Wolfe left WABC in 2007 when she received an offer to join NBC.

Personal Life
Wolfe came out as Lesbian in March 2013 and announced that she was expecting her first child along with her partner Stephanie Gosk who is also an NBC News Correspondent. The couple welcomed their daughter, Harper Estelle Wolfeld-Gosk in August 2013. Wolfe gave birth to her second child, another daughter named Quinn Lily Wolfeld-Gosk in February 2015. Wolfe and Gosk are unmarried and the family lives together in New York.
Owing to her upbringing in Haiti and Jamaica, Wolfe speaks Haitian Creole fluently. She is also fluently conversant in English and French.
