Eric Trump is a famous American businessman and the second son of the newly elected President of the United States. Presently, he is the Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization. He looks over all project acquisitions and the development of the company with his brother Donald Jr. and sister Ivanka Trump.
Apart from that, Eric is also the founder of the Eric Trump Foundation which is an organization that helps raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He also owns the Trump Winery and also oversees and manages the 18 gold clubs owned by his father, Donald Trump.
Recently, a group of young protestors against Donald Trump’s win at the Presidential election heckled Eric and his wife while they were leaving a hotel in New York City. Protests with different “Love trumps Hate” posters and abusive swears were thrown at them.
Early life and education
Eric Trump was born on January 06, 1984 in Manhattan, New York to Donald Trump and Ivana Trump. He witnessed his parents’ divorce when he was seven years old. Eric did his schooling from the Trinity School and later graduated high school from The Hill School in the year 2002. He was part of the board in the school till 2003.
Eric later enrolled himself in the Georgetown University from where he graduated in the year 2006. He graduated with a bachelor in finance and management and joined the Trump Organisation that year itself.

Eric married his long time girlfriend Lara Lea Yunaska who is an associate producer at the television news program. The couple held their marriage reception ceremony at Mar-a-Lago Club which is located in Palm Beach in Florida. The entire ceremony was held under a crystal embellished chuppah which literally took the ceremony up by a notch.
Career
Apart from being the executive vice president of the Trump Organisations, the 1.96 meter tall entrepreneur was also task advisor and the boardroom judge for the show The Apprentice which aired on NBC. He looks over the different global and domestic expansion of the organization.
Since 2006, Eric has also been overseeing the different golf courses owned by Donald Trump which has its courses spread over 15 different places from New York to Puerto Rico. His own made organisation, The Eric Trump Foundation works to raise charity for a noble cause.
Controversies
Eric was charged with fraud owing to the misuse of the funds generated by the Eric Trump Foundation. Tax records revealed that the 95% of the generated amount that was supposed to be for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was not invested solely for the cause. Some part of it was used up in Trump Organization.
Eric has also been criticized by masses of people for his views on the se*ual harassment in the workplace following his father’s views on the same about his daughter, Ivanka Trump who said that he’d want his daughter to resign and change careers. People didn’t like the concept of all the blames to be imposed on the victim and not the harasser.
