David Lemanowicz is a retired American Ice Hockey player and American Military man. He is best known for being the spouse of actress Jill Wagner. The former professional goaltender was drafted in the NHL (National Hockey League) Entry Draft in 1995 by the Florida Panthers.
David and his wife Jill became the proud parents of a baby girl “Army Gray” in April 2020 at the height of the global Covid-19 pandemic. Also, Jill’s new ‘Hallmark’ TV film titled ‘The Angel Tree’ released in November 2020.
Early Life and Education
David was born on March 8, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His parents were immigrants from Poland. After spending his childhood in Vancouver, he moved to Poland for a brief period as a young man.
He finished his schooling at a local school in Vancouver. He later attended the University of Toronto and graduated with a degree in International Relations. While at the university, he played for its Ice Hockey Team for the first 2 years and then coached them for the remainder of his time there.
After his first marriage, David moved to America and enrolled at the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg to get into the US Army. Subsequently, he received a Degree in Global Security via the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program at the university.

After playing Ice Hockey for the University of Toronto, David became a professional goaltender. He was the all-star goaltender at Spokane Chiefs. He played professional Ice Hockey for 7 years.
After moving to America, he played Ice hockey in the lesser leagues like the American Hockey League. He struggled to make a mark and quit after trying for 3 years.
Before joining the US Army, David even worked as a tour guide. He left the US Army just before he was about to become a Lt. in the U.S Army Reserve.

- Lemanowicz met his first wife Gina when he was studying at the University of Toronto. The two dated for 5 years before getting hitched in 2005. They divorced in 2012. The couple has a daughter Lija who was born in 2010. Lija currently lives with David and her stepmother.
- David had met his second wife Jill during the late 1990s during an Ice hockey game. They met again, several years later, when he was stationed in Afghanistan. They got engaged in July 2016. Their marriage took place at Nashville, North Carolina’s Rose Hill Plantation on 8th April 2017.
