Connie Koepke is the daughter of the World War II veteran, George Coepke. Her father was a German who settled in the US, while her mother was Hungarian. She had a brother called Mike who died of AIDS.
Connie Koepke was married to American musician and actor Willie Nelson from 1971 to 1988. When Nelson met Connie, he was already married to Shirley Collie, the country singer and guitarist. The two entered into a discreet relationship and the couple were blessed with a baby girl called Paula Nelson on October 27 in 1971.
Shirley came to know about her husband’s extramarital affair courtesy a hospital bill that had the names Connie Koepke and Willie Nelson. She confronted him and he denied the allegations.
