Ainsley Earhardt is a journalist from America who co-hosts Fox and Friends. Earhardt is a correspondent and an anchor for the Fox News Channel and is also a reporter for her own segment called Ainsley Across America on Fox’s Hannity. She has co-hosted Fox and Friends Weekend, America’s News Headquarters, All American New Year’s Eve and had been a panelist on a program called The Live Desk. Earhardt has been in a show called ‘Red Eye’.

Early Life and Background

Born on 20th September, 1976 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Ainsley and her family soon moved to North Carolina after her birth. She went to Sharon Elementary School and grew up in North and South Carolina. Earhardt graduated in 1995 from Spring Valley High School.

She then went on to attend Florida State University (FSU) on an academic and leadership scholarship. Ainsley majored in Biology and worked for the student body as a senator in student government. Later, she shifted to University of South Carolina after making a decision to pursue a degree in Journalism. From the University of Carolina, Earhardt got a degree in Bachelors of Arts in Journalism in 1999. During her college days, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi and Beta Epsilon sorority.

Career achievements

Being a bright student, Earhardt graduated with excellent scores in her program and was hired as a reporter for WLTX-News 19, a local CBS station in South Carolina before she graduated from University of South Carolina. For 2 years, from 2002-2004, Earhardt worked as the noon and morning anchor. She travelled to New York City to report about the South Carolina Middle School pupils donating almost half a million dollars to the firefighters after the terrorist attack on 9/11. This money was used to buy new fire trucks and replace the one that got lost in the site of World Trade Center.

Earhardt moved to San Antonio in 2005 and hosted the weekly newscasts of KENS-TV. She hosted shows like Eyewitness News at Noon and Eyewitness News This Morning. Two years later, in 2007, she moved to New York and started working for Fox News Channel.

Ainsley received the University of South Carolina’s Young Alumni Award in the year 2007. She was also named the most Outstanding Young Alumni in the School of Mass Communication and Journalism in the same year. Some of the viewers also voted for Earhardt as the Best Personality of the Year in Columbia Metropolitan Magazine.

Controversy

In 2015, Ainsley commented about being tired of protecting the minorities of America. This statement did not go well by many people as it was taken as a racial comment.

Ainsley Earhardt married Will Proctor, a former Clemson University Quarterback and announced that she was pregnant via Fox and Friends First edition in June 2015. She gave birth to a beautiful daughter on 6th November 2015, named Hayden Dubose Proctor.

Ainsley Earhardt released a children’s book called ‘Take Heart, My Child- A Mother’s Dream‘. This beautifully illustrated book that is co-written by her is a motivational book for kids.
